Blue Mountain (My Favorite Place)

Hi everyone!
How's your day? Mine is great as always. Today i want to tell you about one of my favorite place i've been to, and i really want to go there again someday. This place is called Blue mountain.(You may be wondering if it's blue or not). It's in New South Wales,Australia. If you don't know where it is, it's near Sydney. I went there when i was joining the student immersion program to Australia with my school friends.

Okay, now, let's hop straight to the topic!
There are many reasons why i like this place. But right now, i'll explain 2 main reasons. First, it's the scenery. As you can see in the pisture below, the view is breath-taking. I got this photo from the internet. I took a picture too when i was there, though. But it was rainy and cloudy, so the view wasn't this beautiful.

If we're talking about views and sceneries, Indonesia also has many and even more beautiful views. So, this second reason is the unique ways Blue Mountain hasto enjoy these beautiful views. There are 4 ways you can take. The first one is the Skyway. You can see the pictures below.

As you can see in the fourth picture, the skyway has an electro-glass cabin floor so that you can see the views underneath you. If you are afraid of heights, don't worry because it has "ordinary" floor provided. From what i got from the internet, the skyway is 270 metres above the ground and 720 metres long journey. It is quiet long and thrilling journey.

Up next we have the Cableway. It is quiet similar to the skyway, but it goes a bit slanting about 45 degrees. So it feels like you are climbing up (or down) the mountain. It also has a bigger capacity than the skyway. It is 510 metres journey, BTW.

Okay, now let's jump to another journey you can take. This one, honestly, is the most boring, tiring, and main-stream way in Blue Mountain. This is just my opinion though, maybe it's different from yours. This way is called the Walkway. From the name, you can conclude yourself that this way is about walking through the trees. Although it's tiring, it has a human-made walkway so that you won't lost in the middle of the forest. The view and the air are refreshing. And it also provide a spot for you, in the middle of the journey, to rest. Here are some photos of the journey.

And now, ladies and gentlement, i will announce you  my most recommended way you have to try. What is it? It is.... the RAILWAY! The name isn't really exciting, but the real thing is! The ride looks like a train, but the track was really exciting, so it feels like a roller-coaster. This railway is the steepest railway in the world. (you can imagine the thrill). Well, i can't describe the excitement by words, so i give you some pictures, PLUS a short video so you can imagine it.

So? How was it? I know some of you may not agree with me. We all have differences in taste anyway. If you can choose, which way will you pick? For me, ofcourse, the Railway. Whatever your choices are, i hope that someday we can have the opportunity to go there (again). So, that's all from me now. Gotta go, bye! ^^
